HB39/SB155 Postcard Writing Event

NCJW Nashville is partnering with AWAKE in a postcard writing campaign to support passage and funding for HB39/SB155.

HB39/SB155 requires that all Tennessee public high schools provide period products in all girls’ bathrooms, restrooms and nurses offices at no cost to students. Last year the bill passed all Education Committees but was defeated on the floor due to  high annual recurring costs. This year more realist costs are provided along with a new hope for passage.

The request is for handwritten postcards which may be sent at important times throughout the session. Sample scripts will be provided. Awake is handling all the expenses by providing the materials and postage.
